Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment approach that helps you understand and work through emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. It provides a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and create positive changes in your life. Therapy can help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and many other concerns.
-
Therapy can be beneficial if you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with emotions, relationships, or life changes. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy for personal growth, better self-understanding, or to develop healthier coping skills. If you're wondering about therapy, it's often a good sign that it could be helpful.
-
Your first session is primarily about getting to know each other and understanding your needs. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and how we can work together. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions about our approach and the therapeutic process. The first session is also a chance for you to see if we're a good fit for working together.
-
The duration of therapy varies depending on your goals and the issues you're working through. Some people who are seeking more solution focused therapy can often see significant improvement in 8-12 sessions, while others who are working through trauma, depression, and other emotional dysregulations may benefit from longer-term therapy. We'll regularly review your progress and discuss how long therapy might be helpful for you. The goal is to help you develop the skills and insights you need to thrive.
-
Our session fees vary depending on the type of therapy, session length and insurance. We offer a free 15-minute consultation call to discuss your needs and our fees. We also work with most major insurance plans and can help you understand your coverage. We believe quality mental health care should be accessible, and we're happy to discuss payment options that work for you.

Yes, therapy is confidential. What you share in therapy stays between us, with a few important exceptions required by law: if you're at risk of harming yourself or others, if there's suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or if required by a court order. We'll discuss confidentiality in detail during your first session.
-
We take your privacy very seriously. We use secure, HIPAA-compliant systems for all communications and records. Your information is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. We follow strict confidentiality protocols and will never share your information without your explicit consent, except in the limited circumstances required by law.
